What's the difference between "Made
to Order clothes" and "Made to Measure clothes"?
For "Made to Order" clothes basic measurements are taken
to ascertain the nearest stock size and adjustments are carried
out afterwards at the required fittings.
"Made to Measure" requires a comprehensive range of body
measurements to be taken and the garment is cut and made to these
individual measurements. More fittings are required for bespoke
garments than for "Made to order". "Made to Measure"
creates a perfectly tailored outfit to fit your individual body
shape.
You will receive a personal consultation from Kim who will advise
on the fabrics, colours and styles that will suit you. Kim then
measures you and creates a toile (calico mock up) of your dress,
making any adjustments during a second fitting. The final wedding
dress will be created to fit your exact measurements
"Made to order" clothes have a more limited range of olours
and fabrics whereas "Made to Measure", depending on suitability
to style is limited only by your imagination and your purse!
